Sahar Bakshi joined Wasted Aces Poker in May, 2011, after proving herself in poker rooms up and down the Las Vegas Strip.
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Sahar is studied mathematics at California State University San Marcos.
In 2007, she took up poker. She has played in most of the casinos around the San Diego area, including Oceans 11, Penchanga, Valley View, Harrah’s and Viejas. Her best big tournament finish was in the women’s WSOP event at Harrah’s San Diego, where she placed 46th out of 312 starting players.
Her love of poker brought her to Las Vegas, where she started her career as a poker dealer in Henderson, Nevada and on The Strip. A stellar tournament player who also hits the no limit cash games, Sahar has found success early in her poker career.
Sahar, who is half Persian, resides in Henderson, Nevada.
